JUST FOR YOU WITH MAKIN’S CLAY
Just for you with Makin’s Clay! Hello crafty friends! Today I have a cute gift package created with Makin’s Clay and some elements as base. This can be used as a souvenir for a party or just as a sweet little present. Take a look at my present:
- Roller and Cutters set
- Push Molds – Borders
- Cutter Set – Flower
- Cutting Mat
- Beacon Adhesives – Quick Grip Adhesive
Others:
- Little Pail
- Paper Straw
Instructions:
Take a small amount of the brown clay and smooth it with your hands and roller. Select the design of the border from the push mold that you want to use and make long cylinders to create many pieces of this border.
Start to paste the borders around the pail from the bottom part to top part. Use Quick Grip adhesive to secure the strips to pail. If the strips are too long you can cut them with the scissors. After the second or third loop you will need to paste the end of the strips to have the entire line around the pail. For this you also can use the same adhesive.
When the entire pail is covered you can push down with your hands the strips to secure them better and let it dry. The pail is ready!
To decorate the pail, I put inside a little bag with candies tied with a linen tread. Then I put inside of the pail a green and white paper straw that I decorated with some flowers that I made with Makin’s Clay Red and White.
Just smooth the clay with your hands and roller and cut the silhouette with flower clay cutter.
Assemble your flowers pasted with a drop of water or using an adhesive like Quick Grip. Paste the flower over the straw and your Gift package will be ready.
To finalize my package I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set Everyday Sentiments from Joy Clair and I added it like a banner.
Thank you for stopping by and see you soon by more inspiration!
