Kaleidacolor Ink: Awesome card
Hi everyone! The challenge this month on Imagine’s team is a color challenge using sea tones. I decided to work my design over decorated paper and not over regular cardstock and create with Kaleidacolor Ink an awesome card!
On this project I am using one of the sea colors included on the Serenate collection from Quick Quotes Scrapbook as base to create my stamped layer but you also can use cardstock.
Directions:
- Cut the layer of decorated paper in regular size, 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”.
- Stamp the image background using VersaMark and white embossing powder. Melt the powder with the heat tool.
- Ink your mat with Kaleidacolor Ink Caribbean Sea and mix the inks using Ink Potion No.9.
- Rub your stamped layer over the mix of inks and let the paper dry naturally or speed the process with the heat tool.
- With Memento markers enhace the sea colors on some parts of your stamped image.
- Resize your layer and past it over a whisper white cardbase.
Stamp your message or sentiment on Vellum cardstock using VersaMark and Gold Embossing Powder. Melt the powder with the heat tool.
Paste the sentiment over the card with glue dots.
