Love Santa Christmas Card
Hello there, I just pop up to share a card created with the Love Santa Christmas Digital Stamp set from Joy Clair Designs.
This is one of my favorites stamp sets. I really love Santa images and the three Santa’s included on this stamp set are simply adorable. If you want to see other of my cards created with the additional or other Santa’s of this stamp set, just click HERE and HERE.
Normally December is a busy month, and I am always late with my cards. So I decided to make a quick card but with a beautiful design using die cuts and stencils. First, I printed the Santa in a box image onto white smooth card stock. I print four images at the same time using a complete sheet of card stock.
Then I die cut each Santa with one of the dies included on the Nested Label Dies. Additionally, I colored them with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. The colors of Illustrator Markers that I used were DR1, DR4, IG1, TB3, TB5, CT4, GB8, AG1, AG3, FS4, FS6.
To continue with the process, I created the card bases also using white smooth card stock. It is my favorite white card stock. It is friendly with the printer, inks and alcohol markers.
With the Fish Net Stencil, available at Joy Clair Designs Stencil’s Collection and the Spectrum Noir Harmony Water Reactive Ink in colors Midnight, Ocean Blue and Spring Meadow, I inked the free areas and created the festive background directly over the card base.
Then, I pasted the colored image and added the Santa and Sentiment with crafty foam tape and voila my Love Santa Christmas Card is done. As final touch, a few clay dots in coordinating colors and splatters of gold ink.
