Make a Scene Spellbinders Collection
Hello there, I just pop up to share a few cards featuring the Make a Scene Spellbinders Collection. This is a great selection of dies designed by Becca Feeken. An elegant and fun collection to create interactive cards full of details. Additionally, Make a Scene has complimentary sets to make them more versatile. Let me show how I made my cards with a twist.
On my first card, I am feature the Filigree Facade Frame Etched Dies. This is a 5×7 set of dies perfect to create beautiful frames and windows. My card is a regular size card. First, I cut the card base using Melon Mambo card stock. Then, I cut a second layer with the same color of card stock and one additional layer with Gold / Gold Rinea Foiled Paper. With 3 of the four rectangular panels included on the Filigree Facade Frame Etched Dies I created the front windows and decorated panel.
I created a simple flower with the Grand Cinch and Go Flowers Etched Dies from the Make a Scene Collection. I cut them onto white smooth card stock and colored with Illustrator markers from Spectrum Noir and splattered with Gold Ink.
My next card is featuring the Elegant Adornments Etched Dies from Make a Scene Collection. I used the Moroccan View Cut and Emboss Folder to create the background. Additionally, I die cut several pieces from the Elegant Adornments onto Starstruck Rinea Foiled Paper.
