Mardi Gras Event with Joy Clair
Hi crafty friends, today over at Joy Clair Stamps , we are having a stamp celebration with Mardi Gras theme. All the designers are posting their cards using Mardi Gras colors to inspire you for Carnaval Season. This is my card:
I created this over a perfect plum card stock using a fantastic sheet of foil mate background from Therm-o-web. It give me the possibility of create the gold flower design using sparkling gold a new color available very soon.
After create the foiled design, I pasted it over the perfect plum card stock and then pasted the decorated layer over a basic black card base.
To finalize the decoration, I stamped one of the sentiments included on the stamp set Praise the Lord with Versamark and then covered with Kiwi Krush WOW Embossing Powder and melted with the heat tool. I cut the piece of basic black card stock with a stitched circle die from Gina Marie Designs and created a mat with whisper white card stock.
