Mini Slimline Cards with Digital Stamps
Hello there and Happy International Friendship Day! Today I have two Mini Slimline Cards with Digital Stamps from Joy Clair Designs. As you make noticed, I love Digital Stamps! It is because you can easily resize and modify according with you need or want. Let the fun start!
My first card is a very clear and simple design. I used the some of the flowers included on the Digital Stamp You Make Me Proud to create the floral border. I printed it onto White Smooth Card Stock. Additionally, I colored it with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir, mi favorite alcohol markers. The marker colors that I used were CR2, CR5, TB1, TB3, GY1, GY4, LG1, LG3.
To add more interest to the card, I created a clouds on the background using a stencil in combination with a Harmony Water Reactive Ink Oasis from Spectrum Noir. Then, I resized the layer with the large size of the Looped Lace Petite Rectangle Mini Slimline Dies available at Joy Clair Designs Store.
As final touch, I stamped a friendship sentiment from the stamp sentiment Thankful For You with VersaFine Pigment Onix Ink. In addition, I pasted the decorated layer over the card base with 3D Foam Stripes.
MORE INSPIRATION
The next card to share is also a mini slimline card with digital stamps. This time I used flowers from the Floral Joy Digital Stamp and a sentiment from Digital Stamp You Make Me Proud.
This card is also a CAS design that use as background a piece of designer paper; that I die cut with one of the dies included on the Big & Little Chain Rectangle Mini Slimline Dies, also available at Joy Clair Designs Store.
This time, I colored the flowers with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir. The colors that I used were Gold Yellow Blend, Orange Blend, Light Green Blend and Alpine Green Blend. Then, I fussy cut the flowers with scissors and resized the sentiment with a scalloped die included on a past club of Spellbinders.
To finalize the card, I used the scalloped die as stencil and inked the central area of the sentiment with distress oxide ink to make it more attractive. Then, I arranged all the pieces with crafty foam tape over the card base.
