Mini Slimline Floral Card
Hello there, I just pop up to share a Mini Slimline Floral Card featuring the Floral Joy Digital Stamps and Mini Slimline Dies from Joy Clair Designs. This time, I colored the flowers with TriBlend Markers and created the background with Sparkle Glimmer Pens both from Spectrum Noir.
The size of the Mini Slimline Cards is a perfect for sympathy cards, gift cards or simply notes. It is 3-1/4″ x 6-1/4″ closed and you can easily create from a regular size card stock.
First, I printed some flowers from the Floral Joy Digital Stamp onto White Smooth Card Stock and colored them with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir. The colors that I used to color the flowers were Bright Pink Shades, Magenta Blend, Pink Violet and Light Green Blend. Then, I fussy cut it with scissors and let a side for a while.
To continue with the process, I colored my mixed media mat with different tones of Sparkle Glimmer Pens and splattered it with water. Additionally, I press a piece of white smooth card stock over the mixed media mat and let the paper dry naturally. The colors of Sparkle Glimmer Pens that I used were Moonlight, Sage, Biscuit, Lichen and Tangerine.
Then, I resized the piece using the large size of the Lattice Mini Slimline Die & Panel. I die cut the panel in the same color of the card base. I arranged all the pieces with crafty foam tape and finalized the card, stamping a sentiment from the stamp set Thankful for You, also from Joy Clair Designs.
