Modern Duets Textured card
Hi friends, I just pop up to share a Modern Duets Textured card. Dry embossing is one of my favorites techniques and I didn’t make it for long time. Take a look at my card:
This is a real simple card. First, I embossed a piece of green card stock with the Garden Harmony 3D Embossing Folder. Then, I add a few touched of color with white pigment ink. To make it, I just sweep the ink pad directly over the embossed surface and let the ink dry naturally.
When the embossed piece was totally dry, I pasted it over a white card base. I love to use white smooth card stock to make card bases or to print my digital images and this card is a perfect sample of it. Continue with the process, I pick one of the lineal flowers included on the Modern Duets Bundle I Digital Set and create my own composition. After that, I printed it onto White Smooth card stock.
In addition, I colored the flowers and leaves with ColourBlend Pencils from Spectrum Noir before to fussy cut with scissors. Then, I arranged it over the lower part of the card. I used crafty foam tape to paste it and give more dimension to the card.
As final touch, I added the word thanks on the upper part of the card. This word is a I die cut that I cut several times onto white smooth card stock and Gold Glossy Rinea Foiled Paper. I pasted all the layers with Glue Pen Dual Tip Adhesive.
