My favorite from Blooming to Life Collection

Welcome to the second day of celebration with the new products from Joy Clair Designs. Today’s I will featuring my favorite from Blooming to Life Collection. My selected is Stronger Roses.

I made a Slimline card featuring these fabulous roses but this time in a small size. It is only one of the advantage of work with digital stamps. You can resize and create your own layouts. I printed mine onto White Smooth Card Stock, colored them with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir and fussy cut them with scissors. The colors that I used were Green Turquoise (GT1, GT2 and GT3) and PP1 from the Pale Pink Blend.  For the leaves I used Gold Brown Blend (GB1, GB3 and GB5).

To make the background, I used the Slimline Bricks Horizontal Stencil from TCW. A new selection of Slimline Stencils was added to the store with this release and you have many options to play.

As sentiment, I used one of the sentiments included on the Just Butterflies Digital Set. I enlarged it and printed in the right size to use as complete strip over the slimline card.

To add more interest to the card, I inked the sentiment strip with two of the soft colors that I used to create the background.
