National Coffee Day with Joy Clair Stamps
Yes, this is another creation for the fabulous celebration of the National Coffee Day with Joy Clair Stamps. This event is organized by our friends of Coffee Lovers Cardmakers and Joy Clair is a proud super sponsor. Joy Clair is offering a great promotion on Coffee Themed Stamps to celebrate this event and I will give you all the details at the end of this post. For now let me share my card with you.
To make this card, I selected the crumb cake color for the card base and a second layer of Cajun Craze. I stamped the wreath included on the stamp set Coffee and Jesus with Crumb Cake Classic Ink over a whisper white layer and resized the layer using the large rectangle frame from the Crimped Frame Dies from The Greetery LLC. I also stamped over the same layer one of the sentiments included on the stamp set Coffee Talk. I love these two sets because they are very versatile and let me make a lot of combinations.
In a separate piece of whisper white card stock, I stamped twice the coffee cup included on the Coffee Talk stamp set and selected two different top views to stamp inside of my cups. I used Tangerine Tango Classic Ink to stamp the cups and just colored the top borders with a Spectrum Noir Alcohol Marker. The views of the coffee were stamped with Early Expresso Classic Ink. I fussy cut the coffee cups with scissors and pasted over the decorated layer using double sided foam tape.
