New Baby Card with Joy Clair

Hello crafty friends, today I want to share with you a cute card that I made combining two stamp sets from Joy Clair, New Baby and Be Brave. They are from different collections, the first one is a new release from Everyday Collection and the second is an “old” set from Color by Faith Collection, but together are perfect to create a New Baby Card with Joy Clair.

I made this using the accessories images included on the stamp set New Baby. This is one of my favorites sets from the Everyday Collection because it include different messages and funny sentiments at the  same time. The process to make this was very simple:

1. Cut the base of the card using whisper white card stock
2. Paste over the left border a stripe of washi tape. I used one black with silver metallic details.
3. Stamp the sentiments on top of the card using VersaFine Clair Nocturne. I used the Congrats word with the fun combination of Tax Deduction. Both with different font and perfect for my idea of have a new house.
4. From the stamp set Be Brave from Color By Faith Collection, I stamped the tent image using VersaFine Clair Nocturne and fussy cut the image with scissors.
5. I also stamped some of the images included on the stamp set New Baby with VersaFine Clair Nocturne and colored them with markers. Then I fussy cut with scissors.
6. Paste a few doodles of linen thread over the card base and add some drops of Simply Sheer Mate Mist Vintage Blue from Tattered Angels.
7. Arrange all the pieces over the card base and paste with dimensionals or double sided foam tape of different highs.

To finalize my card I added some small rhinestones to add a little shiny to it.
