New Release of Joy Clair Designs
Hello crafty friends, today is a fabulous day for me. We are launching the new release of Joy Clair Designs. It is called Summerlicious 2022 and honestly is a delicious collection of digital stamps for all that love flowers, elegant and encouraging sentiments and of course coloring like me.
In my today’s post, I am featuring one of the six digital stamp sets released today. My cards were created with the Sending a Little Message Digital Stamps. But let me show first the entire collection. This collection is available now at the Joy Clair Designs Store and can be purchase as individual digital sets and/or Bundle Collection with the 20% OFF.
Sending a Little Message Cards
My first set of cards can be considered as a really easy card with a fun technique. I used one complete image of the jar with flowers to create two totally different cards. First, I printed , the jar of flowers and two sentiments onto white smooth cardstock. I placed the image on the center of the page to can cut it easily. Then, I splitted it to have two cards.
With the left side of the card, I created the colored card. I used TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir. The colors that I used were Alpine Green Blend, Pink Violet Blend, Gold Brown Blend, Gold Brown Shades and Orange Blend.
The sentiment is part of the Sending a Little Message Digital Stamps. As final touch, the die cut word Friend that complete the message and look of the card.
The second card is using the masking technique onto the right side of the printed layer. To make it, I first print the image onto white smooth cardstock. Then I print the same image onto masking paper and fussy cut it with scissors to covered the original image.
Then, using two stencils from Diamond Press and distress ink, I inked the free areas.
When I was satisfied with the inked background, just removed the masking paper and re-touched the borders of the image with a blue marker.
Voila! Two different cards with a single printed image.

The third card is featuring the gorgeous flowers included on the Sending a Little Message Digital Stamps. I printed the flower and sentiment in the same layer of white smooth cardstock. Then, I colored the flowers with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir.
The colors of TriBlend Markers that I used were Alpine Green Blend, Coral Blend and Coral Shades.
As final touch, I die cut the lower part of the decorated layer with the Flourishing Foliage Edge’ables from Gemini by Crafters Companion. Additionally I cut the same border onto green card stock to have a shadow behind of the white layer. This combination added a very special touch to the card.
Thanks for stopping by and see you soon with more inspiration!
