Queen of a lot of stuff!!!
Are you a Queen of a lot of stuff?? YES…. and you too!!!
Hi there, today I am sharing this project over the So Suzy Stamps Blog featuring the adorable Queen O and the sentiment Queen of along with a fun technique that I made using a stencil with Amplify.
To begin, I select one stencil to create the background design. I am used the Swirl Stencil from Hero Arts, a brayer and some colors of Amplify to create a design with texture over the card stock.
The process is very simple. Just secure the stencil over the card stock and apply a few drops of the Amplify that you want to use. You can combine them or use a single color. Then pass easily the brayer over the stencil and when you are satisfied with the design remove the stencil and create the texture over the design using the heat tool. Or let the paper dry naturally if you want only the combination of colors. on my project I used a combination of Amplify Radian Neon Electric Yellow, Electric Orange and Electric Pink.
TIP: You can create several designs for your backgrounds at the same time. This is the reason because you see a different stencil and colors on the above photo.
In a separate piece of whisper white card stock, stamp the Queen O and the sentiment Queen Of using the MISTI and VersaFine Clair Nocturne. Cover the images with clear embossing powder and melt the powder with the heat tool. After that cut the image to create a panel.
To create the black border behind the stamped image, I inked a piece of whisper white card stock with VersaMark clear and covered it with Black Embossing Powder, then melted the powder and cut the borders.
To finalize the card I assemble the pieces. I pasted over the Pumpkin Pie card base the stenciled layer directly using snail adhesive. Then I paste the the black borders behind of the borders of the stamped image and paste the entire panel using dimensionals or double sided foam tape over the card.
That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by and see you tomorrow with another tutorial just for you!
