Rise & Shine Journaling
Hello there! Today I have a journaling page that I made over my Bible Journal using the Rise & Shine stamp set from Joy Clair.
To create this page I prepared the page applying Clear Gesso or Gesso Transparent, and let it dry naturally. After that I inked the side column of my bible directly with the Desert Heat Kaleidacolor ink pad to give brushes of colors.
A tip that I can suggest to you is that always use a piece of paper back of the page that you are working and don’t press a lot your ink pad over the bible paper because these pages are very absorbent.
Over the inked background, I stamped one of the sentiments included on the Rise & Shine stamp set and the sun image with VersaFine Vintage Sepia.
In a separate piece of whisper white card stock, I stamped twice Chickens from the Rise & Shine stamp set using VersaFine Vintage Sephia Ink and colored it with Color pencils.
Then I fussy cut with mas scissors and pasted it directly over the inked background to finalize the layout.
