Rita Barakat & Aladine Blog Hop
Hi there, Today I’m excited to join Rita Barakat & Aladine Blog Hop. In this blog hop we are featuring the combination of the products from both companies and of course I made some experiments with my creations.
My first project is a journaling experiment that I made. I am not a mixed media designer but sometimes I love to experiment products and experiment things that I can make with them. Well, this time I experimented the gelli plate printer with Spray Inks from Aladine.
I visited the YouTube Channel of my friend Betz Golden, she is an amazing mixed media designer and I found a complete play list with a lot information about how to use the gelli plates with different mediums.
I started with the Dye Izink Spray ink from Aladine. I just sprayed the gelli plate and placed the two pages of my mixed media journal over the gelli plate and I obtained a very colorful and shimmery background. I used the colors Aurore and Rosee with the Spray Finish Gold.
Using two exclusive foam Stamps designed for Rita Barakat and the Dye Izinnk pads Mer du sud and Rosee from Aladine, I gave more form to my layout. And finalized it, created some textured with stencils and Izink 3D Texture paste Nacre pearly from Aladine.
My second project is One layer card that I made over basic black card base. I decided to use the Unicorns Die Cuts from Rita Bakarat and I printed them in Gray Scale. I love how they turned out and I just colored some parts with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers to intensify the shadows.
With the Pochoir stencil and the Izink Diamond Glitter Paint Turquoise from Aladine I created the lateral textured panel and finalized the card just adding a stamped sentiment.
For my third project I used the Izink 3D Texture Paste from Aladine in combination with a Candy Twist stencil. I love the yellow color of this paste and I just contrast with one of the Cowgirls from the Wild and Free Collection of Rita Barakat.
To finalize the card I created a zig zag circle window over the second layer, splattered the layer with Dye Izink Spray Finish Gold and stamped a sentiment with the Dye Izink in pad Mer du sud from Aladine.
Thank you for stopping by and bellow you will find the entire list of designers that are part of the Rita Barakat & Aladine Blog Hop.
Martha Lucia Gomez – YOU ARE HERE!
These are all just wonderful. Your SAVED card is my favorite. The girl is so cute, and I love the Biblical sentiment. It is so good to remember. We don’t have to live by the law–our salvation is a free gift.
