Hi there, I just pop up to share a slimline card mixing stamps from the new stamps released a few days ago by Crackerbox Stamps. In my project, I am using the Squirrel Small, the sentiment Don’t Have Duck in Row , the Ducky Large and the Squirrel Silly Small.

I started creating the card base, I used white smooth cardstock. Then, I die cut a second layer using designer paper. I die cut the designer paper with the large size of the Delighted Lace Rectangle Slimline Dies. I pasted it directly over the white smooth card base with EZ- Runner Adhesive.

In a separate piece of white smooth cardstock, I stamped three different images from the new release. First, I stamped the Squirrel Small, I continue with the sentiment Don’t Have Duck in Row and finalized with the Ducky Large. By the way, you can get these stamps as single images or buy them as set in different combinations. You can see all the options HERE.

COLORING DETAILS:

I colored all the images with a combination of Illustrator Markers and TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir. The TriBlend Markers that I used were Alpine Green Blend and Yellow Green Blend to create the grass. Muted Brown Blend for the Squirrel Small, Fair Skin Blend for the Ducky and Brown Grey Blend for the Squirrel Silly Small. Additonally, I enhanced some details of these stamped images with the Illustrator Markers CR1, FS6 and FS9.

I stamped the Squirrel Silly Small in a separate piece of White Smooth Cardstock. And after coloring it, I fussy cut it with scissors before to paste it on the right side of the slimline card.

As final touch, I added different sequins in pastel colors.

  1. Love your idea of using designer paper as an edging.
