Slimline Card with Heat Embossing

Hello crafty friends and welcome to the last stop of the day of Wow Embossing Powder & Kat Scrappiness Blog. I want to share with you a Slimline Card with Heat Embossing, created with one of the Shaker Card Kits from Kat Scrappiness and embellished with the amazing Wow Embossing Powders.

CARD PROCESS:

I cut a card base using pink card stock. Then, I cut a second layer on white card stock. To cut the second layer, I used one of the Stitched Scalloped Slimline Dies and pasted it over the card base using Crafty Foam Tape. In addition, with the Layering Slimline Die I die cut a white piece of card stock and Inked it with three different colors of Ink. I used Sugar Cubs from Richard Garay Designs. The colors of ink that I used were Sour Cursh, Sweet Banana and Sour Guava.

After ink the top layer, I stamped on top some images from the Hoppy For You Stamp set with VersaMark Ink. Then, covered it with two different colors of WOW Embossing Powder. For the flowers, I used Metallic First Frost and for the sentiment Gold Pearl Regular.

I leave the center of the card empty to have enough space to add the shaker card kit. On this opportunity, I used the Teddy Bear Shaker Card Kit with Birthday Cake Sprinkles. In addition, I heat embossed the Teddy Bear with Mint Macaroon WOW Embossing Powder. I just inked the teddy bear top layer with VersaMark Ink and covered it with the embossing powder. I removed the excess and then, melted with the heat tool. I repeat the process three times to obtain a very special glossy.

As final touch, I added some Pink Cherry Blossom Sprinkles on the lower part and add a tiny bow to the teddy bear that I die cut using the of the dies included on the Crafters Essential Easter Edition Dies.
