SPECIAL GIFT BOX
Happy Tuesday dear friends! Martha Lucia here with a quick and delicate idea to share with you. Today’s project is a gift box that I made using Celebrate 700, one of the papers from Colección Celebrate that you will love.
I made my box using a piece of paper measuring 12″ x 8″. To create the box you simply have to make score lines on the long side at 1″, 4-1/2, 6-1/2″ and 10″. Then make a score line on the short side at 2″ (for the bottom) and 1-1/2″ (for the upper border). Mark your score lines with the bone folder and assemble the box.
Before decorating my box I gave it a touch of color over all the border using PowerPuff Razz-Berry Chalk Ink. And after this I put aside my box for a while.
The flowers that I used are two flowers that come with the Unique Rustic Patina Metal Embellishment Kit. Originally they are silver, but I decided to paint them with white acrylic paint to make them more delicate. I pasted the two flowers and decorated the center with a Doubleclick Skittle. Behind the flower I made a bow with ribbon and black hemp twine.
The next step was the sentiment or message. I used a Hello Die Cut Word to create this, but to give more dimension to this, I cut it three time in different colors.
Finally I pasted all the details over my box using glue dots, silicone and liquid glue. I created a little distress over the ribbon and took these photos especially for you!
