Spring has Sprung Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join So Suzy Stamps Spring has Sprung Blog Hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the Tracy McLennon.

My card features the gorgeous Olesya Bloom , Olesya Side Bloom and the Open Leaves with one of the new sentiments I’m thinking of you.

I created the background using Bo Bunny Glitter Paste Honey Dew over Whisper White card stock and to create the pattern I used one of the stencils included on the Pattern Party Decorations  Mask from Stampin Up. Then pasted this decorated layer over a Pumpkin Pie card base.

In a separate piece of Whisper White card stock and using the MISTI tool, I stamped the  Olesya Bloom , Olesya Side Bloom and the Open Leaves with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils. I fussy cut the flowers with scissors and arranged over the card with dimensionals or double sided foam tape.  To create a contrast of colors I stamped the sentiment I’m thinking of you. over a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock and pasted on top of the card.
