Stamped Cards with Special Details
Hello friends, Martha Lucia here with two stamped cards with special details created with Whimsy Stamps. For me has been a honor to stay this month playing with these fabulous stamps. Today I am featuring the Lilac and Butterfly Rubber Stamp and the Butterflies clear stamp set.
Flowers are my favorites stamps and work with this fabulous Lilac and Butterfly was very easy. I just stamped it onto White Smooth Card Stock and then enjoy my coloring with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. I fussy cut the image with scissors and left a side for a while.
Using another piece of White Smooth Card Stock, I masked the four borders and inked the free area with Distress Ink. Then, I splattered the entire layer with Gold ink and stamped one of the sentiments included on the Butterflies Stamp Set. In addition, I pasted the inked layer directly over the card base with E-Z Runner Adhesive and added the Lilac and Butterfly Image with crafty foam tape. As final touch, I just added some tiny red dots.
My second project was really easy and fun to make. To create the background I used White Smooth Card Stock and the Speckled Heart Stencil with glitter paste Pink Punch. It added a fabulous sparkle touch to the entire piece.
I pasted the stenciled layer directly over a basic black card base using E-Z Runner Adhesive. Then, in a separate piece of White Smooth Card Stock, I stamped one of the beautiful butterflies included on the Butterflies Stamp Set and colored it with Tri-Blend Markers from Spectrum Noir.
As final touch, I fussy cut the butterfly with scissors and complemented with a sentiment stamped over green card stock.
