STAMPING ON BURLAP BAGS
Stamping on burlap bags. This can be a great package for your love. Traditionally burlap is a hard material but with a few and delicate touches of color you can create the most delicate piece of rustic art. Let me show you how you can make this in less than 30 minutes!
- Prepare you burlap bag. Cut a piece of card board to put inside of the bag to avoid the ink passing through the two layers.
- Select the colors of Memento Luxe that you want to use in your stamping process and your stamps. In my sample I started with Elderberry and Lilac Posies.
3. Create your composition of images using different colors of Memento Luxe. I also used Pear Tart, Pistachio, Olive Grove and Sweet Plum. Fix the ink with the heat tool.
4. To finalize the decoration, I created a tag using one of the same images that I stamped on the burlap bag. Now I stamped this using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and Kaleidacolor Tomato Vine.
I love how the bag turned and how I changed the plain look for something more sophisticated.
