Stars or Flowers with Rinea Paper Foil
Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you my first project of the month using Rinea Paper Foil and the 3D Rolled Star Wafer Thin Dies from Rinea, the perfect die cuts created to make the famous Rinea 3D Stars. But today I don’t made stars I made flowers with the same die cuts to show you the versatility of these.
I created a modern version of the traditional lunch box using the Card Base Pop’n Cuts from Stampin Up. I cut one piece of this using basic gray card stock, scored the borders part and created the lateral sides with additional pieces of card stock. Then I started the decoration using the paper foil included on the Love Foiled Paper Variety Pack.
The first thing that I made was create the belt using the Fuchsia/Fuchsia Starstruck Rinea Foil Paper included on the Love Foiled Paper Variety Pack. I pasted the belt around the entire box using Quick Craft Glue from Helmar. Then using the Wafer Thin Die number 1 included on the 3D Roller Star Die Cut set I cut one circle using the Fuchsia/Gold Glossy Rinea Paper Foil. With a pen I curved outside each petal. I repeat the process with other two circles, one of Blush/Blush Starstruck Rinea Foil Paper and one of the gold side of Fuchsia/Gold Glossy Rinea Paper Foil.
But maybe you are asking how I cut these two last one if I used the the small die cut to create the the down layer? Simple, I just cut my circles with small punches and centered the 3D Roller Star die cut over it and past it through the big shot to create the same design.
To finalize the decoration of my Gift box I used a small word Love die cut that I cut using the Ruby/Ruby Starstruck Rinea Paper Foil and pasted directly over the belt using On-Point Glue.
I hope my project inspires you and give an idea to use your 3D Rolled Star in a different way. With these dies you can create the 3D Rolled Star in different sizes and amazing flowers, it is only imagination.
