Techniques with foiled paper

Hi there! Today I’m so happy because I am working with two of my favorites products. I prepared a technique with foiled paper and that mean that I am working with Imagine Inks and Rinea Foiled paper. Let me share my project first:

To make this card, I used two different techniques. The first was stenciling with ink and the second, color embossing with metal stencil. The process is very simple and you only need to select the color of Rinea foiled paper and the color of the pigment ink that you want to use. I decided to go with Turquoise /Gold Glossy Rinea Foiled Paper and Grape Candy StazOn pigment ink.

1. Secure the metal stencil over your piece of Rinea Foiled paper.
2. Apply the pigment ink over the free areas of the stencil with an inkblusher or sponge.
3. Let the ink dry for a few minutes before to continue with the next step.

4. Without move your stencil create a sandwich to pass it through your die cut machine. To realize this step and make possible the embossing you need a rubber mat.

For my Big Shot machine my correct sandwich is: Multipurpose Platform totally open, a sheet of card stock, metal stencil, rinea foiled paper, rubber mat and the standard embossing or cutting pad.

5. Remove the stenciled foiled paper and resize it to create your card.

I pasted mine over a Sahara Sand Card base using double sided tape. To don’t compete with this fabulous background, I finalized my decoration with a die cut sentiment. I cut the mat using Turquoise/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and the letters using Silver/Gold Glossy Rinea Foiled Paper.

I also cut the same word using regular card stock and stocking all the pieces to have more dimension. To paste all the pieces I used On Point Glue.
