TEXTURE AND COLOR IN ONE CARD
Stencils are my passion and the effect created with the Creative Medium Iridescent is simply gorgeous. In one simple design, texture, color and sparkly shimmer work in unison. I decided to use the Iridescent Green over black card stock to catch your eyes!
I took a stencil and secured it to my craft mat then applied the creative medium over the free areas of the stencil using a palette knife. If you want you can cover the entire area or just cover it partially like I did. Then I removed the stencil carefully and let the paper dry. Next, I cut a flower design using Taffeta Vertigo sheets. Remember that Vertigo has a shiny and a matte side and if you want to stamp over it is better to use the matte side but if you want to color, like I did, it is better to use the shiny side. StazOn is the best ink for plastic surfaces. I used the colors Cactus Green and Emerald City StazOn for the leaf and Orange Zest StazOn for the rose. I finished the overall design by pasting the die cuts using On Point Glue, stamping a sentiment with Versamark and White Embossing Powder.
