Dies and stamps are very special to me. I get really excited about new techniques using them together.   Take a look at my card and let me show you how you can make it:

Directions:

  1. Choose the die cut that you want to use and cut using a large piece of masking paper. TEXTURED MASKING CARD
  2. Arrange the die cuts over the layer of card stock that you want to decorate. TEXTURED MASKING CARD

  5. Let the ink dry before to start removing the die cuts.

  6. Remove the first die cut and stamp the first image using VersaFine Spanish Moss. Cover the image with Clear Embossing Powder and melt the powder with the heat tool. Remove the second masking and repeat the process. Continue the process with each die cut. TEXTURED MASKING CARD
  7. For me, it is better to apply the embossing powder each time I stamp each image, but if you want you can stamp several images and then cover all with the clear embossing powder. I decided to change the color of the last image to Vintage Sepia to create a big contrast. TEXTURED MASKING CARD
  8. To create a special texture on the left side of my layer I used a cross stitch net and inked easily over this using a big sponge dauber with Peanut Brittle Memento Ink and Tangelo Memento Ink. TEXTURED MASKING CARD
  9. After this I removed the net and finalized the decoration with a die cut and stamped sentiment. Assemble the card.
