The best hugs
Hello everyone! Today I am featuring two stamp sets from Joy Clair, Mother’s Day Love with the best hugs sentiment and Crackle Background.
The process to create my card was very simple. I stamped the Crackle Background over Very Vanilla cardstock using two different colors of ink. First with Crumb Cake Classic Ink and second time, rotating the stamp with Bermuda Bay Classic Ink. I love how this piece of card stock turned in a fantastic crackle background.
Then using a stitched scallop circle to cut the center of the stamped layer and resized it to be used as second layer on my card.
Using my MISTI and a Crumb Cake card base I stamped one of the cute images included on the stamp set Mother’s Day Love with VersaMark Ink. After that, I colored the image with color pencils.
When I was satisfied with the coloring, I re-stamped the image with VersaFine Clair Nocturne and stamped the sentiment and covered them with Clear Embossing Powder.
I pasted the Crackle background image over the card base using dimensionals or double sided foam tape. As final touch I mixed Bermuda Bay Classic Ink and Sheer Shimmer Spritzer Sparkle over my mat and with this mix I covered two tiny pieces of card stock or borders that I added on the lower part of the card.
