Trick or Treat…the witch is in!
Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here with some inspiration for Halloween. I am counting the days for October 31st, first because I can’t wait to eat my candies and second because halloween is the unique celebration that moves me to use different colors and create big contrast in my card creations. Today I have a witch boot shaped card to share with you. Take a look of my new shoe:
I made this show card using a SVG file from The Cutting Cafe with the cricut explore and combining three different papers from Quick Quotes: one from the Mulberry Paper Pack , the green side of Whistlin Dixie 105 and the orange side of Honeycomb 102.
I started by cutting the shoe base of the card using a piece of 6″x12″ of Mulberry collection. I secured the layer over the mat of my cricut and cut it very easily with the SVG file that I uploaded in advance on my cricut files. I also cut the second layer of the card using the Whistlin Dixie 105 and I inked the borders of this layer with Brandy Wine PowderPuff Chalk Ink.
Then I cut the accesories using Mulberry paper and Honeycomb 102. I stamped the image trick or treat onto a piece of Honeycomb 102 with Midnight Confessions PowderPuff Chalk Ink and then I punched and pasted on the point of the shoe card.
To embellish the card I added some dark grey pearls and put inside of the card a stamped sentiment the witch is in!
I hope my project inspired you celebrate with colors and sweets and not with scary images.
