Washed by the Blood Bible Journaling
Welcome crafty friends, today I want to share a new Bible Journaling Page that I made using of the new stamp sets from the Color by Faith Collection of Joy Clair Stamps. It is called Washed by the Blood and the best part is that you can use this set not only for journaling, you can use it also to create cards or another type of projects.
I made this Bible Journaling page using a paint bubble technique. With this technique you can obtain a soft touch of color over your pages or a dramatic texture depending of the color that you use or the intensity of paint/ink that you apply.
I prepared a mix of a few drops of water with hand soap, and some drops of soft blue acrylic paint with some drops of the refill of bermuda bay classic ink. Then with a strow, I created the bubbles and moved then to my page and let it dry. Like I used clear colors, the color on my page is clear too. If I used dark colors the color will be dark too.
When the page was totally dry, I stamped the images from the stamp set Washed by the Blood with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils. It was and easy and fun process but always keep in mind that you need to protege the other pages of your bible and for this you only need to use a waxed paper behind of your working page or another hard surface.
