Hi there! April is a month of celebrations in our house of So Suzy Stamps and Crackerbox Palace. Today I will CASE one excellent designer that is part of our team, Cornelia Wenokor.  I selected one of her cards created with alcohol ink, and reproduced by me with watercoloring pencils and Gelatos.

If you want to remember Cornelia’s card just click HERE. I will share with you how easy was for me CASE her model.

I started creating the background. For that I took a watercolor paper piece and masked with post it tape the upper area and colored down of the post it tape with three different colors of Gelatos.

I sprayed with water over the colored area and let the color water drop over the card creating their own design. Then I removed the post it tape and let the paper dry naturally.

In a separe piece of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped some leaves. I changed the Monarch Butterfly  for Line Leaf 1. I used VersaFine Clair Pinecone and embossing with Clear Embossing Powder.

I colored each line leaf 1 stamp with different tones of Leisure Arts Watercolor Pencils and aquapainter or water brush. Then I fussy cut each leaves with my scissors. Also I stamped the same Leaf Line 1 over the dry colored watercolor layer and covered the central space with one of the colored leaves previously cut.

I resized the colored layer and with the same VersaFine Pinecone I stamped and embossed on the lower part the sentiment You are amazing.

I cut the same size of the colored layer on White foam and pasted that between the cardbase and the colored layer.

I love how my card turned out. This is one of my favorite styles of cards, Clear and Simple and let me tell you that Cornelia is the Queen of that. Remember that this month ALL IS SPECIAL in So Suzy Stamps Store and tomorrow we will have on fantastic Blog Hop, Family & Friends of So Suzy Stamps where the design team with share hop with former designers and great friends.
