CHRISTMAS TAGS AND BIBLE JOURNALING

Hello dear friends! Martha Lucia here to share with you two different projects that I prepared with the stamp sets Dog Gone Christmas from the Everyday Collection and Send Me from the Color by Faith Collection of Joy Clair Stamps.

This is my first idea. I made some gift tags using the cute dogs included on the stamp set Dog Gone Christmas. Take a look of my tag and then I will share with you how easy it is to make these:

1. Stamp the dogs over Whisper White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
2. Color each dog with copic markers or coloring pencils. I colored mine with copics.
3. Fussy cut the images with scissors or use the SVG files available with all the Joy Clair Stamp Sets.
4. Using the All Prettied Up Creative Cut from Mama Elephant and Cherry Cobbler cardstock, cut one set of the tags.
5. With Whisper White cardstock and a circle die cuts, cut the back of the tags. At this point you can create shaker cards or simply make dimensional tags. I decided to make dimensional tags. 
6. Assemble your tags and stamp your sentiments.
7. Decorate with a tiny bow. I made mine using a punch and gold glimmer paper.

My second project is a Bible Journal page that I made using the stamp set Send Me. I love the sentiments and fonts of this set. It is perfect to use on many pages of my bible and in my everyday projects too.

I started on this page creating the color banner. It has a metallic look that I got using Fireworks ink. It is ink on spray presentation and I used the combination of three different colors of Fireworks: Cantaloupe, Cocoa and Bahama Blue.

To protect my bible I always put behind of my working page a piece of waxed paper and on this specific page I created a masking area using waxed paper too before spraying the right column with the Fireworks.

The Fireworks Ink dried very quickly and then I stamped some of the sentiments included on the stamp set Send Me using the new Sapphire Blue Delicata Ink and some branches of the stamp set Born is the King, also from the Color By Faith Collection, using Emerald Green Delicata Ink.
