Poinsettia Christmas Card
Hello dear friends, today I have a Poinsettia Christmas Card but this time created with the fabulous Poinsettia from So Suzy Stamps and a watercolor technique. Take a look at my card:
I started my card stamping the Poinsettia image over watercolor paper with Versamark Ink and White Embossing Powder to enhance the fine details of the flower. I melted the powder with the heat tool and with an aqua painter applied a thin layer of water over the flower to prepare the paper for the coloring process.
I colored my Poinsettia with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors Set, and I have to admit that I am in love with this watercolor set because their colors are brilliant and intense, so you can control easily when you apply them. To embellish the poinsettia I colored outside with a blue shadow of watercolor and when it was totally dry I added some drops of Nuvo Crystal Drops Neptune.
Using Versamark Ink and Silver Embossing Powder I stamped the Merry Christmas Brush sentiment on the lower part of the watercolor layer and after removing the excess of the powder I melted it with the heat tool.
To finalize the card I paste some strips of double sided foam tape over the decorated layer to paste it over the Cherry Cobbler cardbase.
