Hello dear friends, welcome to So Suzy Stamps and The Ton Stamps Blog Hop.  Today we have a great party to show you some creations combining these wonderful products. If you came from Tae Eun Blog, or you are starting here, then you are in the right place!

SO SUZY STAMPS AND THE TON BLOG HOP
I want to share with you a Christmas card that I made using some of my favorite stamps from So Suzy and one die cut that I really like from The Ton. I really enjoy the combination of stamps and die cuts and the inlaid technique is one of my favorites, so take a look at my card:

SO SUZY STAMPS AND THE TON BLOG HOP

The stamps that I used aren’t created with the idea to be Christmas stamps but  the versatility of these images is one of the best things about it. I used the Wispy Chrysanthemum Outline and the Wispy Chrysanthemum Solid with the Dot Splatter to create the background. To stamp the solid flowers I used two different colors of ink, Classic Ink Rose Red and Regal Rose and for the outline flower  I used Classic Ink Sahara Sand. To stamp the Dot Splatter, I used Classic Ink Old Olive and Wild Wasabi.

Creating this technique is very easy, you only need to have your complete piece stamped and then place your die cut in the position that you want to cut. I used the Fabulous Word Die from The Ton Stamps. I positioned it on the lower part of the stamped layer and cut it with my big shot. Then I cut the same die cut using a piece of white fun foam. I pasted the stamped die cut over the fun foam die cut and left aside the entire piece for a while.

I created a base of the card using old olive card stock. The size is 4-1/4’x11″ with score in 5-1/2″ . I pasted the stamped layer directly over the base using the snail adhesive and took the die cut that I left for a moment and pasted it in the original place that I cut.
