SUStars Inaugural Blog Hop: Autumn & Halloween….Free Pass for Inkspirations 4U

Posted on September 18, 2010 in 3D, Cards, Die Cutting, Techniques

Hi stampers, I hope you are great today. Welcome to SU Stars Blog Hop, this month we are featuring Autumn and Halloween themed projects for your inspiration. Maybe you start the hop in our Main Page, I’m the #2 and I hope you had visited our fist stop with Brenda Hugar’s blog, the #1. Next to me is Shirley Northey . The complete hop lineup is at the end of this post.

My first project is a card.
I made this with a new set called Paisley Prints (Item #120817 in wood or # 121121 in clear mount, Page 11 of the Holiday Mini Catalog). I used the Pumpkin Pie Card Stock as a base and Chocolate Chip and Whisper White as layers. To simulate the snow I used the vellum card stock with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. The sentiment is a part of the stamp included in the Punch Pals Stamp Set (Item # 116588, Page 34)

This set is one of my favorites and in the last minute I decided to use in a clean & simple box that coordinate with my card. In this box you can include a chocolate or a set of 3×3 cards with envelopes as my sample.

My third project is CASE of our Idea Book and Catalog 2010-2011.

To made this I used the round sweet treat cups (Item # 116802, Page 170), the Sweet Centers Stamp Set (Item # 116521, Page 59). I think you are asking “Which is this ribbon?” and the answer is “This ribbon is our 5/8 Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon colored with bronze acrylic paint. I learned this tip during our Convention and this gives to us the opportunity to use colors that coordinate with our projects.

Remember that you have the opportunity to win a free pass for Inkspirations 4U “Christmas Edition” if you sing up as suscriber on my blog. The icon is in the right column and you have time until September 23, 2010.
Now, you can visit Shirley Northey’s blog to continue with the fun.

Espero hayan disfrutado de mis projectos.

  15. Hi Lucia!
Just wanted you to know that I love your work. I visit often, but don’t always have time to comment (I’m sorry). But today I took the time (hubby is waiting for his dinner), because I truly love your box for 3 x 3 cards. Do you have directions to this that you would share? I probably could figure it out, but I would rather know it is correct the first time. Thank you for sharing your art with us — always gorgeous.
