Anniversary Retarte Challenge Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the Anniversary Retarte Challenge Design Team Blog Hop! Our theme is always Anything Goes and the hop starts right here. Let’s get right to it!

For my first card,  I chose a bright colors for the fowers. This is a digital stamp from Digistamp4Joy, one of the fabulous sponsor of Retarte Challenge. It is called Anemone Corner. I printed the image twice over whisper white cardstock and colored with Studio 71 Alcohol markers. Then I fussy cut with my scissors.

To coloring the flowers I used the colors YR4- Y12- Y11-Y9 and Y7 (yellow line); R9- R6- R3 and R2 (pink line) and BG8-BG7- BG4- BG3 for the leaves. all from Studio 71.

The base of my card is basic black cardstock and for the background I used whisper white cardstock with the Quilted Backdrop die cut from Lawn Fawn. I pasted it directly over the card base and then pasted the a combination of two Anemone Corner flowers with dimensionals or double sided foam tape.

To complete the card I stamped one sentiment from the stamp set Life’s a Breeze from Joy Clair stamps, Sponsor of our anniversary celebration. To stamp the sentiment, I used VersaMark and white embossing powder over basic black cardstock.

My second card features the Stella Peeker Another Drink, fantastic Digital Image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps Sponsor of Retarte Challenge. I printed the image over whisper white cardstock and Die but it with one of the die cuts from Die-Namics Mod Rectangle Stax from My Favorite Things.

I used like second layer awhisper white negative part that I cut using a big die cut from that I used to cut the Stella image. The base of the card is whisper white cardstock and I inked the top layer with three different colors of classic Ink. I used Pretty Pink, Rose Regal and Rose Red. I splatter the background with Rose Red Ink. I pasted all the layers with dimensionals.

I colored the image with alcohol markers from Studio 71. To colored the olives YG7- BG2- YG-2 and E2. For the cup I used N2- N3 and Y3. For Stella I used E15 for the skin, BG14 y BG16 for the dress, R12 y R16 for the shoes and N2 y N5 for the hair.

To complete the card I stamped a sentiment Miss You from Crackerbos & Suzy Stamps, Sponsor of our anniversary celebration. To stamp the sentiment, I used textured pink cardstock and Rose Red Classic Ink. I die cut the sentiment with a circle die and created a mat with the Dual Dotted Circles Dies from Lil’Inker Designs.
