Art Journal with die cuts
Hi there! Today I’m sharing a new art Journal page that I made featuring the New Artomology by Jane Davenport from Spellbinders. I made this in my new endeavor of mixed media using the Tousled Etched Dies from New Artomology Line by Spellbinders .
To begin, I stenciled the entire surface with a 12×12 stencil from Heidi Swapp and distress ink. Then with other stencil and creative medium I created the texture in both pages. After the texture dry, I stamped some images from the stamp set Floral Love from Spellbinders onto the right page with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I splattered the entire area with Lilac Posies Fireworks and added some touche of blue distress ink.
To create the create word, I used stickers and just bordered with a fineliner pen black. When I was satisfied with the look I die cut the Tousled Etched Dies from Night of Navy cardstock and pasted it directly over the lower part of the left page. Using the Birthday Suite Palette Pastel I colored the hair and face of the die cut and enhance some details of the image.
