AUGUST CHALLENGE WITH JOY CLAIR
Hi there! Just popping in to share a project featuring a few stamp sets from Joy Clair. Today is the launching of August Challenge with Joy Clair and this is part of the DT inspiration.
In my project I used on of my forever favorites background, the Doodle Flower Background. I stamped it with VersaMark over whisper white cardstock and then covered with Gold Embossing Powder and melted with the heat tool.
This is the photo inspiration for this month and I decided combine the pinks with the white adding a “few” touches of gold.
To make this, I colored in silhouette the stamped background using Studio 71 Alcohol Market, color R2 Blush. Then I enhanced some details of the image with two different colors of Studio 71, R3 Peony and R4 Azalea.
I resized the layer and pasted directly over a whisper white card base.
To finalize the card, I cut the Summertime Wafer Die using foam white and Gold/Gold Glossy Rinea Foiled Paper. I pasted behind the Gold word the foam word to give more dimension and added the foam white letters to have a major contrast.
As final touch I cut a Scallop Stitched Border using Powder Pink cardstock and pasted it over the card with dimensionals.
