Birthday Card from the 60’s

Hi there, I just pop up to share a Birthday Card from the 60’s. The images that I am using are part of the Remember the 60’s collection. For some of us, our generation!

I decided to use neon colors that are more from the 80’s but is that I was born in the middle of the decades!!!

ABOUT THE CARD:

I use the slimline format to make my birthday card from the 60’s. The base is Mango Melody card stock and the second layer white card stock. I die cut the second layer with the Stitched Circle Plate Background Slimline Die available at Joy Clair Designs Store.

To take advantage of the negative circles that this slimline die gave me, I stamped the circles. I use the Record Album Stamp from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps with VersaFine Onix. Then, I pasted the Stitched Circle Cover Plate directly over the card base with E-Z Runner Adhesive. For the circles, I used with Crafty Foam Tape.

To finalize the birthday card from the 60’s, I die cut a cross stitched circle to stamp on the center, the sentiment We still Rock! with VersaFine Onix. This sentiment is also part of the Remember the 60’s Collection.  As final touch, I just added some neon enamel dots available at Joy Clair Designs Store.
