Butterfly Frame Card & Hi Card
Hello crafty friends, I am up with a Butterfly Frame Card and Hi Card that I made featuring the Die D-Lites Butterfly Frame and Floral Hi Etched Dies from Spellbinders.
This is a fantastic set of die cuts. It includes two borders, one with butterflies and one with flowers and also have the coordinating shapes of flowers and butterfly to can create easily a 3D border. The base of my card is whisper white and I just embossed a Bashful Blue layer using the Wonky Diamonds Embossing Folder from Spellbinders. I pasted this layer over the card base using double sided foam tape.
To decorate my card, I die cut three butterfly borders using whisper white card stock. I embellished each border with the single butterfly included on the Butterfly Frame using three different pastel colors of card stock. As final touch, I added a sentiment from the stamp set Friendship Greeting that I cut in three different parts and pasted over each border with double sided foam tape. The embellishment dots that I used are from the Party Confetti Sprinkles Collection.
My second project is using the Die D-Lites Floral Hi Etched Dies from Spellbinders. I love this design because it is elegant and versatile at the same time. The base of my card is Pacific Point card stock and I decorated the top layer using horizontal strips of Whisper White card stock that I pasted directly over the card base.
To finalize my card, I cut several times the large die included on the Floral Hi Etched Die using card stock and then, pasted on top a design that I cut onto Gold Glossy Rinea Foiled Paper. I repeated the process with the letters and for the top layer I used Ruby/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.
