Celebrate Get Well Wishes

Hello! Today I am sharing tips to create a card using die cuts and the new stamp set Get Well Wishes from Joy Clair Stamps. As usually the first day of the month is to celebrate the Joy Clair Challenge and today we have a beautiful inspirational mood board. Take a look at my card:

The base of my card is Whisper White card stock and I used Designer Series Paper (DSP) Pink to create the second layer. I cut this layer using one of the double stitched rectangle die cuts from Peek-a-book Designs. I pasted the DSP layer directly over the card base using snail adhesive.

Then I cut the circle using Daffodil Delight card stock and one of cross stitched circles from Gina Marie Designs. I pasted it over the card using dimensionals or double sided foam tape.

My next step was cut the word using the die cut Celebrate word from Peek-a-boo Designs. For this part, I also used the same Designer Series Paper Pink but I colored it after cut, with a pink marker to have a pink tone more intensive.

This month we are celebrating a big Cross Promotion between Joy Clair Stamps and My Sweet Petunia the creators of MISTI…wohooo! So you will have the opportunity to see all my MISTI’s in action.

After have all the die cut pieces ready, I moved to the stamping part using my MISTI tool. I have the regular MISTI and the Mini MISTI but at this time I used the regular size. On the next photo you will notice how I play with different sizes of paper and how with the MISTI I can use small pieces of paper to stamp my images.

After stamp the images from the stamp set Get Well Wishes with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, I colored them with markers and fussy cut with my scissors. I arranged all including the celebrate word and pasted over the cross stitched circle using dimensionals or double sided foam tape. As final touch I added some details with Novu Crystal Drops in Morning Dew color
