Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps New Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m excited to join Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps New Release Blog Hop!

The entire design team is excited with these new stamps and how we can prepare for the next seasons. I have two different cards to share with you.

My first card is a combination of stamps, inks and die cuts. I started with a whisper white layer, randomly stamped onto it the new Viney Wreath stamp using the colors included on the Desert Heat Kaleidacolor Ink pad. I love to mix these colors and I just moved the ink pad over the stamp. Then over the Viney Wreath images stamped and using the same ink pad, I stamped the new Vine stamp . These leaves work amazing with the wreath. As final touch, I just splattered some gold and tuxedo black drops over the entire surface.

To finalize the card I used the Joy Etched Die from Spellbinders.  I love the dimension of this and to make it pop over the card, I created several layers to my card.

The first is card base, I used Crushed Curry card stock for the base, then I cut a Garden Green layer and from this layer I cut the Joy Etched Die. I also cut the same die in Rinea Gold Glossy Foiled Paper. Using the inlaid technique I pasted the gold die inside of the garden green layer. Then I cut the Joy Etched Die from the stamped whisper white layer and with the same technique, I pasted the garden green die. At the end I just assembled all the layers with double sided foam tape and believe me the photos don’t make justice to the real card.

My second card is also a combination of stamps.  I used one of fabulous snarky sentiments that only Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps can create, the Flower Border and the Big Hammer.

This is a square card of 4-1/4″x4-1/4″. The base is basic black card stock and the second layer is pear pizzazz card stock. I decorated the left border with a piece of designer paper and a tiny border that was a piece of scrap from another project. I stamped the Flower Border and the Big Hammer sentiment with VersaFine Onix Black and Clear Embossing powder and melted the last one with the heat tool. Then I colored some of the flowers with Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils.
