Creative Vision Stamps & FOILables

Today I combined FOILable and stamps. To create this card I used basic black cardstock for the base in a regular size 4-1/4″ x 11″ with score in 5-1/2″. I embossed the second layer of old olive cardstock with the embossing folder Basket Weave Brackground from Darice, cutting it with the large cross stitched rectangle die cut from Gina Marie Designs.

To decorate the second layer I tied four loops of natural hemp twine on the center of the layer. With these elements I have the base created.

To continue with the creative process, I stamped the Pears stamp over Very Vanilla cardstock using Desert Sand Memento Ink. and colored with VersaMagic chalk inks using the best tool that we have, fingers! Coloring with my hands help me to control the color and determinate the intensity of them.

I stamped the image again a little moved to create the sensation of a 3D fruit and leaves in movement. I cut the colored image with one Cross Stitched Oval die cuts from Gina Marie Designs. Keeping the cardstock in place with the die cut, I colored colored the entire background of the image with a soft blue chalk ink using the die cut as frame.

In a separate piece of very vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the clear stamp set Monkey Business, using Desert Sand Memento Ink and made a mad with basic black cardstock.

I used the half page of one FOILable Toner Sheet – Pattern 3 with the Heat Transfer Foil in color Pirate’s Chest.   The process to work with the Foilables in combination with the Heat Transfer Foil is very simple. You only need to cover the design of the foilable sheet with the color face up of the Heat Transfer Foil and pass it through your Mind machine or any laminator machine.

On this card, I fist inked the FOILable Toner Sheet that I want to use with Pumpkin Pie classic Ink using a jumbo sponge dauber. To make this more special I made over the FOILable Toner Sheet an ombre coloring effect using only this ink. With the next size of the Cross Stitched Oval die cut, I cut the foiled layer and pasted it with the dimensionals over the decorated card base.

To finalize the card, I assembled all the pieces using dimensionals or doble sided foam tape and pasted the sentiment.
