Hi there, today I have an easy card colored with Metallic Color Pencils from Spectrum Noir.  The metallic pencils looks great in dark and clear card stock. I will show you how easy is to use them with digital images.

Spectrum Noir has a box of 12 Metallic pencils perfectly to create bold, highly reflective designs. To make my card I selected one of the images included on the Cup of Joy Digital set from Joy Clair Designs. One of my favorites for this season.

EASY CARD DETAILS:

Digital stamps and Metallic color pencils

I printed my images in Neenah Classic Solar White card stock. The Cup of Joy file came in two formats and I love to use the pdf version because I print a single sheet and have many images to color and use in the way that I wanted.

Steps to color with Metallic color pencils and pencil blending solution

I started with the light metallic colors. For the design of the cup, I selected the Gold Metallic Pencil and some of the flowers, I combined the Pink and Violate pencils, then with a pencil blending stump and Pencil Blended Solution from Spectrum Noir I mixed the color until create the effect that I wanted.

Details of the metallic colors used to color flowers

I repeated the same process to color the leaves and additional flowers. The Metallic Pencils includes light and dark colors from the same family that are easily mixed. For the leaves, I used a combination between Yellow and Green. On other flowers I used Blue and Purple.

The last part of my coloring was the cup. For it, I used the silver metallic pencil and the the pencil blending stump with the pencil blending solution. Really capture the shiny and pigment of these color on photos is not easy to me, but you have to try it to know how beautiful they are.

To finalize the card, I cut a white card base and decorated the top layer with the Dot Argyle Cover Plate. Additionally, using Finesse Ink Noir Black, I stamped one included on the First Coffee stamps set by Joy Clair Designs and the medium die size of the Heart Lace Rectangle Die Cuts.

I hope you all enjoyed the easy card colored with metallic pencils. Happy crafting!!
