Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – Secret Garden

Hello everyone, thank you for joining me today and celebrate with us the fabulous Fall Coffee Lovers Blog 2017! Secret Garden Crafts is a proud super sponsor of this event and I prepared a special card just for this event.

Flowers are my favorite and coffee is always a delicious drink so why not create a card mixing these elements and the fabulous colors of the fall season! For this project I decided to use my favorite color of card stock, Whisper White, and a window die cut to create a fall background behind the second layer of the card. Take a look at my card:

I used three different colors of Distress Ink to create the background over the card base. I used Broken China on top, Spice Marmalade for the middle and Gathering Twigs for the lower part. Then I cut the window panel over the second layer and stamped the sentiment using Dark Brown Delicata Ink. This coffee sentiment is an image included on the stamp set Coffee Quotes from Joy Clair. In a separate piece of Whisper Card Stock I stamped the coffee pot, an image from the Coffee Love Stamp Set by Altenew using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the coffee with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut the image with my scissors. I folded the paper doily in half and over this I arranged one Lilac Tuscany Rose and four Miniature Sweetheart Blossom in Ivory, Pink and Red. To paste the flowers I used glue dots and to paste the coffee pot I used dimensionals.
