Floral Inspiration Cards from Spellbinders

Hello crafty friends, I’d like to share with you a 3-D Floral inspiration cards made with a realistic floral touch showcasing the latest, Susan’s Garden Favorites Collection for Spellbinders. Today I am featuring the Trillium Etched Dies but during the next days, I will share the Sunflower and Ladybugs Etched Dies and Peach Blossom Etched Dies.

I started off taking pearlescent white cardstock over the large die included in Trillium Etched Dies set. Then, I went ahead to run them through my die cut machine  to cut from it only the flowers. Additionally, I made the same process for the leaves but this time using green card stock and yellow for the center of the flowers.  In total, I die cut three complete flowers.

I gave a touch of green color to the center of each flower using pastels. If you follow the instructional video created by Susan’s, you will noticed how easy is to create the texture and lines to the flowers and leaves.

After have my flowers done, I die cut the card base of the card using basic black cardstock. To make it more attractive, I used the Flourished Sonata Notecard  Etched Dies. In addition, I stamped one of the sentiments included on the stamp set Layered Anemones and die cut it onto one of the Elegant Adornments Etched Dies. All from Spellbinders.
