Fun & Easy Stencil Card
Hi there, I just pop up to share a fun & easy stencil card created with stamps from Crackerbox, my favorite rubber stamps! Today I am featuring the Duck Grin and the sentiment I Am Lucky Ducky.
For the base of my card, I am using dark blue cardstock. For the decorated layer, I am using white smooth cardstock. Let me share quickly how to assemble this card:
First, I stamped the Duck Grin and the sentiment I Am Lucky Ducky at the same time using the MISTI. I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp both images. Then, I colored the Duck Grin with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. And when I was satisfied with the colored, I continue the process with the stencil.
To make the card more attractive, I used the Boho Tails Stencil, available at Joy Clair Designs. I placed it over the stamped and colored images and with a blender tool, applied soft ink. The Ink was Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. I resized the layer and decorated with some clay sprinkles from Kat Scrappiness.
As final touch, I pasted with crafty foam strips a decorative frame. To die cut it, I used the Inverted Stitched Scallop Rectangle dies from Gemini by Crafters Companion. And voila, my fun and easy card is finished!
