Funny Christmas Cards

Hi friends, I have two different cards to share today. These are funny Christmas Cards created with the new Christmas Card Kits from Crackerbox Stamps and some additional stamps. Like today is the first day of Fall and Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop one of my cards is coffee related! Additionally, the coffee/tea stamps will be 30% off the 12th-15th.

My first card is a combination of several stamps. I love to create this type of cards. It’s because you can see how versatile are the stamps from Crackerbox.

The card base is Textured cardstock and the second layer is white smooth cardstock. I die cut it with one of the dies included on the Loopy Rectangle Slimline Dies. Although, did you noticed that this design of dies is one of my favorites?…LOL, I have the Loopy Borders in all shapes and I loved!

On this card, I am using the Hot Chocolate Mug stamp, that is part of the Card Kit #17. The Santa and Reindeer Dancing stamp and the sentiment Coffee Chocolate.

To color the images I used TriBlend Markers Brush from Spectrum Noir. The markers were Coral Extend CR3+CR4+CR10, Dark Red Blend DR1+DR4+DR7, Fair Skin Blend FS6+FS7+FS8, Muted Brown Blend MB1+MB3+MB4. In addition of some touches of Illustrator Markers FS9, CR3 and FS4.

To finalize the card, I cut the images with scissors and stenciled the background with Harmony Ink Water Reactive Sandsturm. Additionally, I arranged all the pieces with crafty foam tape and stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

CARD KIT 18

My second card is also for Christmas and this is featuring the Card Kit 18. This kit includes images that are a great addition to the Grinch collection previously released by Crackerbox.

The card base of this month is a Bib Overlay Kit. I just turned it 90 grades and stamped the Grinch Mas sentiment on the circle with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Playing with the circle concept, I stamped the Grinch Face in a piece of White Smooth Cardstock and die cut it with a Nested Circle Die. You can also cut it with a circle punch.

Then, I stamped the Grinch Hand and Ornament Set of 2 onto white smooth cardstock. Additionally, I colored the images with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir. These images were colored with TriBlend with bullet nibs. The colors that I used were Dark Red Blend DR1+DR3+DR4 and Citrus Green Blend CG1+CG2+CG3.

To finalize the card, I fussy cut the colored images with scissors and pasted over the decorated card base with crafty foam tape. Then, as final touch, I pasted a scalloped circle behind of the sentiment to make it more festive.
