Glittered Christmas Card

Hi, everyone! I am here with a Glittered Christmas Card. This is a fun and easy technique that you can create using Crafty Power Tape and glitter. To make it more evident, I am using decorative strip dies that let me combine the glitter colors. The technique is called Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside. Come! Let me show you…

Strips of Glitter

To create the strips of glitter is necessary to die cut first the patterns over the top layer of your card. You can use any color of cardstock but keep in mind the tones of the glitter that you want to use.

Paste strips of Crafty Power Tape Polybag 81 ft. behind of your die cut design. This tape is a super high-tack and permament double sided tape. Don’t peel the back paper of the tape.

Turn around your top layer and cover the open areas of your die cut design with glitter.

With your finger, press the glitter to the adhesive and remove the excess with a brush or dry clothes.

Repeat the process in all the free areas of your die cut designs. You can combine the colors of the glitter if you use different strips of Crafty Power Tape Polybag 81 ft.

When you are satisfied with the strips of glitter, you can clean your top layer with a piece of dry clothes or a piece of Swiffer Sweeper. This is a great tip to clean the glitter from your working area.

In my sample, I mat the top decorated layer with a coordinating color of cardstock. To paste the mat, I used the E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser. Then, I used 3D Foam Square White Mix to paste the decorated panel over a whisper white card base.

I hope that I was able to inspire you today to create a quick and easy glittered Christmas card that can be a great idea for mass-produced cards!

See you soon with more inspiration!
