Happy Mother’s Day Card
Hi there! I just pop up to share a Happy Mother’s Day Card that I made using Rinea Foilded Paper and Creative Embellishments. This month we are celebrating a cross promotion with them and believe me I am surprised with their amazing designs and options.
The base of my card is Bermuda Bay card stock and the second layer is one of my favorites Foiled colors from the Floral Variety Pack. It is the Glossy Fuchsia/Gold. But let me share the steps that I made to create my card:
- Stamp overt the Glossy Fuchsia/Gold the Tufted Buttons Background from Joy Clair Designs using the new reformulated Ghost Ink 2.0 from Rinea.
- Take a piece of Glossy Violet/Gold and stamp over it the same background stamp. The idea is sync both pieces and create a mat.
- Resize your stamped layers and paste it directly over the card base.
Now is the time to embellish the card. I selected the Tiger Lilies but let me tell you that they have incredible and amazing flowers! These flowers are made in chipboard, excellent material to personalize. I colored mine with watercolor pencils from Spectrum Noir.
As final touch, I added a sentiment from the stamp set Mother’s Day Love from Joy Clair Designs. I used Versafine Onix Ink and just added a tiny border of Rinea Foiled Paper Fuchsia/Gold.
