HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy New Year dear friends!!! Welcome 2017!!!

Today is a great day for us, we are are starting a new calendar year and a new Design Team Year with So Suzy Stamp and you know how much I love Suzy! I prepare a winter card using the theme of the month “It’s Cold Outside” but to be honest here in Florida we didn’t feel the cold yet.

To create this card I used three different stamps from So Suzy Stamps, Vellum card stock, Whisper White and Island Indigo card stock.

1. Cut the base of the card. The size is 4-1/4’x11″ with score in 5-1/2″
2. Cut a second layer whisper white. The size is 4″x5-1/4″.
3. Stamp over the second layer the Chrysanthemum Solid and the Chrysanthemum outline using Island Indigo Classic Ink.
4. Cut a third layer using Vellum card stock.  The size is 4″x5-1/4″ and paste over the second layer.
5. Cut a banner of Island Indigo card stock of 4″x3/4′ and paste on the center of the card.
6. Decorate the Island Indigo banner using a die cut border. I used the Birds on a Wire from DieNamites.
7. Stamp the sentiment Thinking of you over a piece of whisper white card stock and create a banner with it.
8. Paste behind the birds.
9. Decorate the flowers over the vellum with some medium pearls.

Easy and beautiful, don’t you think?
