How to make a clean and simple card

Hi there, today I want to share how to make a clean and simple card. This is a real beautiful style of cards and very fun to create.

CARD DETAILS:

Normally the CAS or clean and simple cards are white but you can also use different colors. In my today’s sample I decided to have a tone to tone design with a lot of white. I first stenciled the top layer with the Deco Flower Stencil and the Texture Paste Opaline from Aladine and let the piece of paper dry naturally.

Then, I cut the Hello Word Die onto white card stock and created several layers with the same design. Additionally, I pasted all the die cuts, 4 or 5 in the same place to make a thick word perfect to emboss. Like I wanted, to have a partial embossing of it, I masked the top part of the word with post it tape and applied VersaMark Ink on the lower part. Then I covered with Gold Embossing Powder and melted with the heat tool.

To finalize the card, I pasted the stenciled layer over a white card base and colored the top part of the word with a brilliant alcohol marker to create a big contrast with the embossed part. Additionally, I pasted the embossed word on the center of the card using Dual Tip Glue Pen.

Thank you for stopping by!
